Individual supervision and support for foster carers will be provided by the allocated supervising social worker, who will visit the foster carer(s) at regular intervals, and visit or telephone when required. Additionally, Homestead staff will liaise closely with placing social workers and their managers.

A support group for foster carers which carers are encouraged to attend is held at monthly intervals. A newsletter for foster carers is produced and circulated, and information on available training courses is circulated at regular intervals.
